National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva took part in the XIII meeting of the heads of parliaments of the countries of the Regional Partnership (Austria, the Czech Republic, Romania and Croatia).The forum took place at the National Council of Slovakia. Invited to attend were Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia.

Tsetska Tsacheva’s report was dedicated to the infrastructure development in the region and she presented the main priorities of the transport infrastructure's development of Bulgaria.

She pointed out that after the end of the crisis the region is expected to have steady economic growth and competitiveness. In her view this could be reached by ensuring an effective market environment, european funds absorption and investments in infrastructure projects.

She also stressed that continuing reforms in the region are of utmost importance in order to reach an effective market environment.

The main topics discussed by the parliamentary heads at the meeting were “Infrastructure Development in the Region” and “Tourism and Infrastructure”.
