The Parliament obligated the Government to update the Action Plan to the National Reform Program 2011 and the Convergence Program 2011-2014. By the adopted resolution the National Assembly pegs the Cabinet down to undertake the necessary follow up action in order to address the recommendations of the Council of the European Union in the drafting of the 2012 National Budget and to plan adequate steps towards strengthening the control over the updated measures.

The Parliament voted the resolution following the deliberations on the interpellation by M.P. from Coalition for Bulgaria Kornelia Ninova to Prime Minister Boyko Borissov regarding the EC recommendations on the National Reform Program 2011 and the Convergence Program 2011-2014.
