The President of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva has sent today a condolatory address in connection with the death of the great Bulgarian actor Velko Kanev.

 “Our souls are gloomy today due to the fact that one of the most talented and emblematic Bulgarian actors left us. His artistic reincarnations in the theater and the cinema will remain forever at the top of Bulgarian art”, says the president of the National Assembly in the condolences.

 “Velko Kanev has created fascinating and unforgettable characters on stage as well as in a number of cult movies in our cinema, for which he had received the warm reception and recognition of the audiences. I am convinced that the actor will continue to exist in the spiritual realm of the Bulgarian cultural life as a symbol of mastery and passion. He will remain a high paragon and a source of inexhaustible inspiration for the young generation of Bulgarian actors”, continues the letter.
