Nuclear energy and the similar problems that Bulgaria and the Czech Republic meet with their nuclear power plants were discussed during the meeting of the National Assembly Vice-President Lyuben Kornezov with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic H.E. Mr. Petr Dokladal.

The two gave a high assessment to the bilateral parliamentary cooperation in 2003. Three Czech parliamentary committees visited the Bulgarian Parliament and two committees of the National Assembly visited theCzech Parliament. The Czech European Integration Committee’s visit to Sofia is under consideration, emerged at the meeting. An invitation to the Citizens’ Complaints and Petitions Committee to visit the Czech Republic was extended by their Czech counterparts who visited the National Assembly in November.
