National Assembly President Prof.
Ognian Gerdjikov consecutively received the Ambassador of Croatia H.E. Mr.
Tonci Stanicic and the Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Viacheslav Pokhvalskyi.

The meeting
with Ambassador of Croatia H.E. Mr. Tonci Stanicic was in connection with his
final departure from this country. Prof. Gerdjikov gave a high assessment to
the level of bilateral relations and congratulated Ambassador Stanicic for his
personal contribution to the development of the political dialogue and the
deepening of the friendly relations between the two countries.

The
forthcoming visit to Bulgaria in the beginning of 2004 of an official
parliamentary delegation, led by the President of the Ukrainian Parliament Mr.
Volodymyr Lytvyn, was the main accent in the conversation between Prof.
Gerdjikov and the Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Viacheslav Pokhvalskyi.
