The law, adopted at first reading, foresees categorization of all hotels and restaurants in the country for a fixed period of time. The bill moved by the Council of Ministers proposes a 5 year validity for the certificates of category for hotels, restaurants and entertainment establishments, as well as for mountain huts. The bill rules the procedure for lowering the category of the tourist site. It enlarges the range of the tourist establishments to be categorized, redefines the types of different hotel establishments and decentralizes the certification proceedings.
