This is the amount of money allocated to the “Pensions” account of the state Social Security Fund. The parliament has voted the revenues and transfers in this account to be BGN 5 821 993 300 and the expenditures BGN 7 531 079 200. These numbers have been stipulated with the second reading of the draft Budget Bill of the State Social Security fund for 2013.
The parliament has adopted the revenues and transfers of the consolidated budget of the state social security fund to amount to BGN 9 054 718 300, the expenditures and transfers to – BGN 9 051 265 800. The revenues from social security contributions are set at BGN 4 287 140 700, transfers from the republican budget at BGN 2 510 424 200. The additional subsidy from the central (republican) budget to cover insufficient funds is planned at BGN 1 908 551 200.
From the expenditures and transfers BGN 7 899 260 300 are allocated for pensions, BGN 1 067 552 700 for social assistance payments and compensations and BGN 76 711 500 for programmes and activities of the social welfare and employment services.
The minimal amount of the pension for years of service and age is set at BGN 145 as of January 1 to March 31 2013. As of 1 April 2013 the same pension will be increased to become BGN 150.
