Mihail Mikov has sent condolences to the leaders of the Kingdom of Spain’s Congress and Senate in relation to the train crash in Santiago de Compostela

The President of the National Assembly, Mihail Mikov, has sent condolatory letters to the leaders of the Kingdom of Spain’s Congress of Deputies and Senate, Jesús María Posada Moreno  and Pío García-Escudero Márquez in connection with the train crash at the railway station in Santiago de Compostela that has led to many deaths and a lot of injured people.

"Please accept the expression of my deepest condolences and compassion towards you, towards the deputies of the Spanish Congress and Senate, and towards the families and relatives of the victims", writes the President of Bulgaria’s Parliament. Mihail Mikov extends most sincere, friendly and human sympathy and solidarity on behalf of the members of the 42nd National Assembly and the entire Bulgarian people. “We grieve for the victims and deeply share the pain of the Spanish people”, he states. “Please allow me, in this difficult moment, to voice my sincerest hope for the successful end of the rescue operations and for the speedy recovery of the injured in the heavy train crash", concludes the letter.
