The President of the National Assembly Mihail Mikov has sent a condolatory address to the family and relatives of composer Nayden Andreev.
“I was deeply grieved by the news of the death of the legendary Bulgarian composer Nayden Andreev. Please accept on my behalf and on behalf of the Members of the 42nd National Assembly sincerest condolences and compassion for the heavy loss”, writes Mihail Mikov.
“We were left by the beloved by many generations Bulgarian artist – author of hit songs that never get old, songs that made Bulgarian music culture known far beyond our fatherland. His professional path is marked by a brilliant talent and high esthetic standards. His popular songs will remain alive in our hearts and will remain forever in the treasury of Bulgarian music”, notes in the letter Mihail Mikov.
“Nayden Andreev is symbol of an entire period in the development of the contemporary Bulgarian culture. His talent will remain as a high sample and inspiration not only for the present, but for the future generations of music authors as well”, writes in the condolences the chair of the National Assembly.
