The exhibition was opened by the President of the National Assembly, Mihail Mikov, on 15 November 2013.

Mihail Mikov noted that the exhibition displays works of children who collect money for the construction of public playground,  adapted for children with special needs, in the town of Veliko Tarnovo. I hope that the sunny mood of the children’s pictures may find place in the home of every lawmaker and consequently in the children of Veliko Tarnovo, for whom the exhibition’s proceeds are collected. I wish this exhibition success and I believe that by purchasing the children’s drawings, the deputies will not only transfer the joy of the pictures in their homes but will donate such to the children whose laugh will sound on the playground.
