In a letter to the Finance Minister, Petar Chobanov, the President of the National Assembly, Mihail Mikov, suggests the funds previewed in the budget for reconstruction of the current Sveta Sofia  Hall of the NA into plenary hall to be distributed as bonus payments to the country’s pensioners in December.

The accumulated in the budget of the National Assembly funds in the years 2008 – 2012 for the reconstruction amount to 12 722 000 leva, the money previewed for 2013 is 2 278 000 leva, writes Mihail Mikov in the letter.

The proposal comes in line with the postponed reconstruction of the plenary hall.
