The President of the National Assembly, Mihail Mikov, has sent on December 30th 2013 condolatory letters to the heads of the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matvienko and Sergey Narishkin in connection with the terrorist attacks carried out in the southern Russian city Volgograd, in which many citizens perished or were injured.
“Bulgaria denounces decisively the bloody assaults which represent a strong violation against democracy and contemporary civilization. There is no any justification for such acts aimed at the life of innocent people”, states the chair of the National Assembly.
Those brutal and barbaric assaults demonstrate once again that the world democratic community should be more determined in uniting its efforts to an uncompromising fight against terrorism, Mihail Mikov points out. In the letters he expresses his most sincerest, friendly and human sympathy towards the families and the relatives of the victims and his hope for fast recovery of the injured citizens.
