The American Jewish Committee will adopt a declaration expressing concern about the Bulgarian medics in Libya. It emerged at the meeting of the Vice-President of the National Assembly Kamelia Kassabova with a delegation of the American Jewish Committee, led by Julie Baskes, Chair of the National Council of the Committee.

In the course of the meeting Kamelia Kassabova raised the question on settling Iraq’s debt to Bulgaria and on finding mechanisms for participation of the Bulgarian business in the process of Iraq’s reconstruction. The guests committed to put the question to US business and political circles.

Restitution of Jewish properties and the Bulgarian ruling majority’s policy on minorities against antisemitism and xenophobia were among the subjects under discussion.
