National Assembly President Mihail Mikov met on January 23, 2014 with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Lyerka Alaybek.

During the talks they discussed the development of the bilateral cooperation. The two parties agreed that the accession of Croatia to the European Union had increased considerably the opportunities for partnership between the two countries. They emphasized the need to reinforce the economic contacts and the closer interaction between the parliaments.

During the meeting discussed was the forthcoming visit of the parliamentary delegation from Bulgaria, led by the president of the National Assembly Mihail Mikov, to the Republic of Croatia.
