The Parliament has extended the term for submission of proposals between the first and second reading of the Election Code until the 3rd of February 2014.

Amendments to the Administrative Procedure Code envisage initiation of complex administrative servicing. The complex servicing should be available by 1 January 2015. The changes regulate also the student internships in the administration.

Lawmakers passed at first reading amendments in the Waters Act moved by the Coalition for Bulgaria. The changes foresee the minister of agriculture to be able to contract with “Irrigation systems” the execution of a public service for protection against the harmful effects of unclean waters. The expenditures of the state enterprise will be compensated from the state budget in case the expenses are deemed unfair financial burden for the enterprise. 

The parliament has decided that the government “Flight Crew 28” will in the future be subordinated to the Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications instead of the Council of Ministers and will operate as second line spending unit within the budget of the ministry of transport, information technologies and communications.
