With a minute of silence the National Assembly has honored the memory of Dimcho Mihalevski, lawmaker from the Coalition for Bulgaria parliamentary group. Dimcho Mihalevski has left us: a colleague from the 41 st and 42 nd National Assembly, elected from the multi-mandate constituencies of Smolyan and Burgas, announced to the plenary the chair of the parliament, Mihail Mikov.
A young man has passed away, a man known to everyone for his good deeds, noted Mihail Mikov. He added that Dimcho Mihalevski had defended ardently his political views, had always prepared in advance for the political battles in which he had entered into and had won them, had dedicated himself completely to the society and Bulgaria. A loving father, full of faith in the future of Bulgaria – that is how the chair of parliament defined Dimcho Mihalevski.
Dimcho Mihalevski was born on 24 October 1965 in the town of Kardzhali. He was Deputy Minister of Regional Development in the cabinet of Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev. In the 42 nd National Assembly he was Chairman of the Regional Policy and Local Self-Government Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Coalition for Bulgaria parliamentary group.
