The Interior Ministry is to do everything to achieve sustainable results in the fight against household crime. The interior minister Tsvetlin Yovchev explained that in order to achieve this goal the ministry had already changed its organization, through restructuring and redeployment of the personnel, by changing the organization of the investigative work. He stressed the police are to be present where most needed.

The interior minister noted that the ministry is preparing measures to increase the role of outside collaborators in the fight against household crime. The idea is to hire unemployed persons by using funds of the Labor and Social Policy Ministry, at places where the Interior Ministry lacks funds.
