A joint commission of employees of the National Assembly and members of the Initiative committee organizing the collection of signatures asking for the holding of referendum on issues related to the electoral system in the country and the mode of vote casting  had finished checking and writing down the contents of each case containing the signatures. The commission has drawn a protocol of all lapses and discrepancies found in the documentation.

Today, March 14th, the subscription  was sent to the Civil Registration and Administrative Services Main Directorate of the Ministry of Regional Development where further checking of the signatures will be carried out  as required by the Direct Participation of  Citizens in the State  and Local Governance Law.

The initiative committee for the collection of the signatures, headed by Prof. Georgi Bliznashki, had filed the request for the Referendum with the boxes containing the signatures at the National Assembly on the 10th of March, 2014.
