Penalty interest for early repayment of loans under new or existing contracts shall drop out, the National Assembly decided at its meeting on April 9, 2014. The parliament adopted at second reading amendments to the Consumer Loan Act. The amendments shall enter into force three months following their promulgation in the "State Gazette".
Earlier the same day, the MPs decided that the Easter vacation of the National Assembly shall last from 17 to 26 April 2014. On 16 April 2014 the parliament shall convene in a solemn session on the occasion of 135 years since the adoption of the Tarnovo Constitution.
