With regard to the heavy incident, which occurred in a coal mine in Western Turkey the president of the national Assembly, Mihail Mikov, has sent a condolence letter to the president of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Dzhemil Chichek.
The chair of parliament has expressed deepest condolences about the tragedy, which has casted gloom on Turkey and immersed in grief many families.
“We mourn the victims of this unprecedented tragedy. The people of neighboring and friendly Bulgaria join you with profound sympathy and solidarity in these moments of great difficulty”, reads the letter of the head of parliament.
“At this very moment the main concern remains the fate of the miners still under the ground. I sincerely hope that with the decisive efforts of the rescue teams their lives will be saved”, continues the letter.
Mihal Mikov expresses in addition his confidence that the state institutions of Turkey will not spare their best efforts to relieve the sufferings of those affected by the grave accident and for recovery of the aftermath.
