The president of the National Assembly Mihail Mikov has sent on 1 July, 2014 congratulation letter to Martin Schulz on occasion of his reelection as president of the European Parliament.

“The fact that you are the first president of this high institution elected for a second term is a clear recognition for your qualities as a great politician and leader, “writes the head of Bulgaria’s parliament.

“Facing a lot of challenges, today more than ever, Europe is in need of brave ideas and will for carrying out decisive policies and direct dialogue with people,” says the letter. The priorities of the European Parliament outlined by you right after your election on this position prove your firm will to pursue these high goals. I am sincerely convinced that the members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria will work actively for the realization of the priorities of the institution, as well as for a stronger and more solidarity bound European Union”, notes the president of the National Assembly.

Mihail Mikov wishes Martin Schulz to continue working for higher authority of the European Parliament and for increased confidence of the European voters.
