The letter is concerning the request of Gergyovden Movement leader Lyuben Dilov Junior, for giving back the petition in favour of referendum on the future of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant, submitted to the National Assembly on 11.04.2002 by the Civil Committee for protection of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant and the Gergyovden Movement.

It informs that the petition, submitted to the National Assembly on 11.04.2002, is entitled “Petition for protection of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant and development of nuclear energy in Bulgaria” and there is no request on holding a referendum in it.

The letter rejects the allegations that the petition has been lost and MPs have not been familiarized with it.
