The National Assembly President Mihail Mikov has sent condolences on 15 July 2014 to Sergey Naryshkin, Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and to Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation’s Federal Assembly with respect to the heavy crash in the subway of Moscow.
“I have been deeply grieved by the news of the heavy crash in the subway of Moscow that led up to many victims. In this difficult moment I would like to extend my sincerest condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of those who perished. In these difficult and painful moments friendly Bulgaria joins the Russian people in his mourning,” writes Mihail Mikov.
In the condolatory letters the Speaker of the National Assembly expresses hope that thanks to the timely acts of the rescue teams and to the competent medical intervention the life of the injured citizens will be saved.
