The Speaker of the National Assembly, Tsetska Tsacheva, has met with the President of the European People’s Part Joseph Daul. Mr. Daul is on a working visit to our country. His program envisages meetings with all political forces, represented in the parliament.

I came to Bulgaria to convey the message that the country has to have as soon as possible a stable government, which should serve the citizens and bring tranquility, declared the guest. To the Chair of the Bulgarian parliament he wished a majority able to guarantee this goal.

Tsetska Tsacheva acquainted the head of the European People’s party with the first steps of the 43rd National Assembly. We have imposed a new style and tone in the way we communicate yet in the process of the political consultations and I strongly believe that this constructive spirit  will be preserved for the good of our country in the legislative institution. She further added that she has appreciated very much the sign conveyed by the respected European politician as was Mr. Daul's visit to Bulgaria.

Joseph Daul was awarded with the honorary plaque of the National Assembly.
