National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva hands in the honorary token of the National Assembly to the renowned Bulgarian jurist Prof. Kino Lazarov

The President Tsetska Tsacheva has handed in the National Assembly’s honorary token to the prominent Bulgarian jurist and respected expert in the field of Administrative and Administrative Procedure Law Prof. Kino Lazarov on 16 December 2014. “I have the pleasure to present you with the token as a sign of tremendous respect towards you and as an expression of gratitude on the part of your numerous students”.

Tsetska Tsacheva noted that she personally had a great respect for the scientific and teaching work of Prof. Lazarov and underscored that he was among the authors of the present Administrative Procedure Code. She also mentioned, she would like to get to know the poetry of the jurist with the belief that it reflects his rich spirituality. Prof. Lazarov on his part replied: “There is time to write verses, they are longer than a law.”

At the meeting, the head of the Town Council of Dolni Dabnik announced the council’s decision of 21 November 2014 to proclaim Prof. Lazarov honorary citizen of the town as a recognition of his work.

Prof. Kino Lazarov was born in 1933 in the town of Dolni Dabnik. He graduated from the Sofia University Law School. After his graduation he served as judge in the local court of the town of Pleven. He finished his PhD in Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure in the Institute for Legal Studies of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, under the scientific supervision of Acad. Petko Stainov. Prof. Kino Lazarov is one of the senior members of the Law Faculty of the City of Plovdiv University. He has participated in three Advisory boards on legislation at the National Assembly and had served as well as member of the draft committee on the Constitution. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in the field of Administrative and Administrative Procedure Law.
