With his prayer, His Holiness Patriarch Neofit, blessed the solemn Eve of Christmas meal. A dinner full of home comfort, pleasant and joyful time spent around the burning yule log, together with one’s family. He wished all Bulgarians to be enlightened by the benediction and peace of the newly born and the Holy Spirit. “We experience again the birth of our God and Savior Jesus Christ with a thrill in our hearts, deep faith and inextinguishable hope in his great, divine providence. We do meet the divine child who came among us quietly and humbly, born far from the vanity of the world – as is only given to God himself ,“ Patriarch Neofit said. At the Eve of Christmas' service he also wished “peace and prosperity for the Church and the people of Bulgaria, peaceful and happy days and years ahead and success in the search of God’s truth.
