The National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva and other Members of Parliament have attended the water blessing of the military flags service in Sofia held on the feast of Epiphany.
The traditional service of water blessing of the military colors and sacred flags of the Bulgarian Army was held on January 6th, 2015 by His Holiness, Patriarch of Bulgaria, Neofit in front of the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. The President of the Republic of Bulgaria and Chief of Staff of the Bulgarian Army, Mr Rosen Plevneliev, reviewed the parade of the elite units of the Bulgarian Army which took part in the ritual.
The ceremony was attended also by the Minister of Defense Nikolay Nenchev, the Chief of Defense Vice Admiral Roumen Nikolov, high military officials, the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova, local government representatives, members of military-patriotic associations, public figures and citizens.
