The history of Bulgaria is full with inexhaustible sources of enthusiasm and pride, has stated the President of the 43rd National Assembly, Tsetska Tsacheva, while handing out club cards to new members of the “Young people for Renaissance” clubs. The event was held at the Pleven Epopee Panorama on the occasion of the town of Pleven’s Day – 15 May. The National Assembly is also holding on this occasion an exposition titled: “The Apostle’s Constitution”.
Tsetska Tsacheva noted that only those who know their past and history could have a bright future. She underscored that those who want to truly follow into the steps of Vassil Levski’s deeds should love their Motherland and town. In her words the life of Levski answers the question what means to be a person carrying the spirit of the revival times. She called on young people to keep in their hearts the memories of the Apostle of Freedom’s attainments in order for Bulgaria to perpetuate.
Vasil Vasilev, Chairman of the All-Bulgarian Committee “Vasil Levski”, co- organizer of the event, stressed that there was no country more nice than Bulgaria, with the best and brightest children.
As part of the new club members’ reception a discussion was held on the theme: “What means to be striving for renaissance today” with the participation of the distinguished Bulgarian writer, Academician Anton Donchev.
