The National Assembly members have decided to establish ad hoc committee to review the amendments to the Constitution moved by the parliamentary groups of the CERB, the Reformist Bloc, the Patriotic Front and 8 lawmakers of the BDC (Bulgarian Democratic Center).

The committee will include 2 members of each parliamentary group or the total of 16 members, electing among them a chair and deputy chairman.

Decisions of the ad hoc committee will be made by a simple majority. The committee’s term of office is to continue for as long as it will take the National Assembly to either pass or reject the bill for amendments and supplements to the Constitution.
