The president of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva has sent condolences to the speaker of the parliament of Georgia, David Upashvili, with regard to the devastating flooding in the capital Tbilisi. The condolatory address expresses condolences and sympathy on her behalf and on behalf of the members of the National Assembly of Bulgaria.
“I am deeply shaken by the news about the catastrophic flooding that caused the death of 13 people and of another 22 reported missing persons. Please allow me to extend our most sincere human and friendly compassion and solidarity”, writes the chair of the National Assembly.
Tsetska Tsacheva expressed hope that the missing as a result of the disaster Georgians will be recovered soon; that with the concerted efforts of the Georgian authorities and citizens the consequences of the flooding will be overcome.
