At the meeting held on 23 June 2015 the Chair of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva expressed confidence that the good friendly relations between Bulgaria and Vietnam and the intensive dialogue taking place at the highest political level would lead to considerable results in the bilateral cooperation. She pointed to the fact that minister Quang visits Bulgaria less than a month after the visit of Vietnam’s Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung , when important documents were signed.

We follow closely and with respect the burgeoning economic growth of Vietnam, Tsetska Tsacheva stressed and added that as an EU member state Bulgaria will support the signing of an agreement for partnership and cooperation between the EU and Vietnam. She expressed hope the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Vietnam will further develop as well as the partnership in the education and culture fields.

The Minister of Public Security of Vietnam, Chan Dai Quang, underscored the cooperation between Vietnam and Bulgaria in the area of home affairs would boost and create new opportunities for enlargement of the bilateral cooperation in other fields of mutual interest as well. He expressed confidence that the exchange between the two countries in the field of home affairs would bring good result.
