By observing a minute of silence, the National Assembly paid tribute to the victims of recent terrorist attacks.
“A few days ago the world was deeply shaken by the terrorist attacks in the French capital that have left hundreds of death casualties and many wounded. There can be no justification for actions that take innocent lives. Therefore, we strongly and decisively condemn not only this terrorist act, but any form of terrorism as a brutal and unacceptable attack on democracy and modern civilization”, the National Assembly President said at the opening of the plenary session.
Tsetska Tsacheva asked the MPs to bow heads and pay silent tribute to the memory of victims of the tragedy that has plunged Paris and the entire world into profound grief. It has become clear, the President went on to say, that the Russian airliner that crashed on October 31 in the Sinai Peninsula, was shot down in a terrorist attack.
The Parliament adopted on first reading the draft budget of the NHIF for 2016. The MPs also voted on first reading a draft law on the State Social Insurance budget for 2016.
