Amendments to the Statutory Instruments Act, adopted at second reading, envisage holding discussions with citizens and legal entities as part of the process of drafting the legislative act.
The lawmakers decided that the term for proposals on the bills where civil society participates is not less than 30 days after the draft is published. In some rare cases the term could be shorter but for not less than 14 days.
After the end of the public discussion and before the draft is moved in the plenary, the party proposing the legislative act has to publish on its internet site an account of the received proposals and an explanation of those not included in the bill.
