The deputy chairman of the National Assembly Yavor Haytov opened a documentary exhibition in Parliament on the life and deed of Alexander Stamboliiski. The exhibition presents materials from the personal fund of Alexander Stamboliiski, from the archive of the National Assembly and from the records of the Central National Archive. It includes rarely published documents from the state archives in Sofia, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo, Pernik, Ruse, Shumen, Vidin, and Razgrad.

The so-called census lists illustrating the beginning of the parliamentary activity of Alexander Stamboliiski and the lithograph “Green Parrot” used in the election campaign were presented for the first time.  

The exhibition sheds new light on the life and deed of Alexander Stamboliiski, the deputy chairman of the National Assembly Yavor Haytov said at the opening. There is hardly anyone else in Bulgarian history but Alexander Stamboliiski, who has made deeper, braver and more daring reforms, which have effects even today, the deputy Rumen Yonchev stated at the opening of the exhibition. The deed of Stambolliski and his legacies are up-to-date, said Rosen Petrov to those present.
