National Assembly Vice-President Kamelia Kassabova received a delegation of the Group for Friendship with Bulgaria of the German Bundestag led by its Chairman Michael Stubgen.

The main accent in the conversation was the development of the relations between the two parliaments, as well as the bilateral political and economic cooperation.

Kamelia Kassabova underlined that Germany is an important political and economic partner of Bulgaria. She thanked for the consistent support by the German Bundestag for realization of Bulgaria’s political priorities – EU integration and NATO membership.

Germany highly assesses the progress made by Bulgaria towards EU accession, the Chairman of the Group for Friendship with Bulgaria of the German Bundestag Michael Stubgen said. Bulgaria is a factor of stability on the Balkans, he added.
