The Parliament elected Karina Karaivanova – Ganozova as Chairperson of the Financial Supervision Commission, on a proposal made by the PG of PP GERB. After the voting, Karina Karaivanova took an oath.
Karina Karaivanova has graduated the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University “St Kliment Ohridski” with major in Economics. She holds a master’s degree in Finance and Banking. She has many specialisations in the country and abroad in the fields of economics and management. Most of her career was of an expert at the Ministry of Finance and in 2012 she was a Deputy Minister of Finance.

Karina Karaivanova has proved her professionalism over the years, she has held management positions for a period of over 10 years and some of her duties were related to the stock exchange, the equity markets and the pension reform, the Chairperson of the Budget and Finance Committee Menda Stoyanova said at the presentation of her candidature.
