The President of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva sent letters of condolences to the presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Italy Pietro Grasso and Laura Boldrini on the occasion of the devastating earthquake in Central Italy.

I am deeply distressed by the tragic aftermath of the natural disaster which caused so many casualties and destructions, the President of Parliament stated. “In these difficult times facing your country let me express our sincerest friendly and human sympathy and solidarity. Please accept my condolences and sympathies and those of the deputies of the 43rd National Assembly to the families and relatives of the victims”, Tsetska Tsacheva wrote.

The President of the National Assembly stated she was watching the situation in the country and believed that timely and professional actions of rescue teams and medical offices would help rescue people from the afflicted areas and for the fast recovery of the wounded.
