The President of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva took part in the opening of “Knezha Fair Days” in the town of Knezha. The President of Parliament welcomed the citizens and guests of the town for preserving the tradition to hold the local fair at the end of August. In her words, the fair brings together people from all parts of the country. It is nice to have such holidays but they are even better when we are able to share the difficulties of the day and to recognize we are following the right path, Tsetska Tsacheva added.

The President of Parliament expressed her gratitude to the mayor of Knezha for inviting her to take part in the official opening of the fair days and for the opportunity to share the emotion of the holiday with all the citizens and guests of the town. She congratulated the organizers on the rich cultural and sport programme prepared and expressed her hope that the traditional fair would continue in future.

The beginning of the formal opening of the fair days in Knezha this year was accompanied for the first time by the bagpipe band “Petko Voivoda”. The festive evening continued with a solemn tattoo.
