The President of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva was awarded a plaque for “Exceptional Contribution” by the Medical University of Pleven. The recognition was presented by the Rector Prof. Dr. Slavcho Tomov at a formal ceremony on the occasion of the opening of the new academic year. He noted that the decision of the academic management to award Tsetska Tsacheva is for her contribution to the opening of the new Faculty of Pharmacy.
The President of Parliament thanked for the recognition and noted that she was proud to be part of the great team that had made it possible for the opening of the Faculty of Pharmacy. When you are persistent enough, when you succeed in engaging the academic community, the city and municipal administration, citizens, students, and alumnae of the university, things just happen, the President of the National Assembly added.
Tsetska Tsacheva underscored that the Medical University of Pleven prepared highly qualified specialists with successful careers. She congratulated on the opening of the new academic year the faculty, all students and in particular the freshmen who have chosen to pursue the complex and hard path of medical doctors.
Pleven is a live city, which breathes with the enthusiasm and freedom of youths – it has present and future, the President of the National Assembly added.
After the formal ceremony Tsetska Tsacheva visited the campus of the new faculty and again congratulated the university team on the implementation of the ambitious project.
