The Speaker of the Parliament Dimitar Glavchev and MPs has attended the opening of new premises of Sofia District Court and Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office.

The modern building, which will be used by one of the busiest courts and Prosecutor’s Office in the country, was opened by the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and the Minister of Justice Tsetska Tsacheva at an official ceremony.

An estimated 14 million levs were invested from the budget of the judiciary to revamp the building for the purposes of Sofia District Court and Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office. The opening of the new building will solve a long-standing problem of Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office, which until now has been located on five Court properties.
