Dimitar Glavchev, Speaker of the Parliament, has sent a letter of congratulations to Wolfgang Schäuble on his election as President of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany.

“I am confident that this election is a well-deserved recognition of your proven public and professional credibility as a distinguished politician, statesman ad leader”, says the Speaker of the Parliament. Dimitar Glavchev expresses his hopes that the traditionally good relations between the Parliaments of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Federal Republic of Germany will continue to strengthen and actively develop in the interest of the two friendly nations and the common future in the European Union.

In the letter of congratulations, the Speaker of the National Assembly confirms the preparedness of the MPs from the 44th National Assembly to enhance the productive dialogue and cooperation between the Bulgarian Parliament and the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany.
