The Republic of Korea is our priority economic partner in Asia, said Dimitar Glavchev, Speaker of the Parliament, at a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Lee Nak-yeon.
The Speaker of the Parliament said that the visit was an important element of the high-level dialogue and a continuation of the friendly talks held in August, during the visit of the Bulgarian parliamentary delegation to the Land of the Morning Calm.
At the meeting today, opportunities to develop Bulgarian-Korean relations in all areas of mutual interest were discussed.
Both countries said that they would continue to develop an active high-level political dialogue and encourage cooperation in different areas, such as information technologies, car making, infrastructure, trade and tourism. The Bulgarian-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established today in Hyundai Centre – Sofia, will boost commercial and economic contacts between the two countries, said Dimitar Glavchev. He expressed his satisfaction with the solid contractual and legal foundation and the broad institutional framework of the bilateral cooperation in priority areas.
