At the beginning of the plenary session the MPs condemned the terrorist act in New York and stated their will to fight terrorism.

We condemn all forms of violence as a gross violation against democracy and modern civilisation, said Speaker of the Parliament Dimitar Glavchev.

We state our will to join efforts in the fight against terrorism because there is and cannot be any excuse for such violence against innocent people, he also said.
