The export control of defence related products and dual use good and technologies act has passed second reading in Parliament.

Revisions aim to alleviate the administrative burden. The requirement for providing hard copies of some documents will be waived. Some of the texts will be made more precise to prevent different interpretations. Some of the existing administrative procedures will be streamlined.
