The final draft of the programme of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU presented in Parliament 15/12/2017

The final draft of the programme of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, adopted by the government on 6th December, has been presented in Parliament.
In the plenary hall, Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018 Lilyana Pavlova thanked the MPs for their contribution and said that their recommendations had been included in the final draft of the document.
There are four priorities in the programme of the Bulgarian Presidency: the Future of Europe and Young People, the EU Prospect and Connectivity of the Western Balkans, Security and Stability in a Strong and United Europe, and Digital Economy and Skills of the Future. We will uphold the significance of the cohesion policy in order to continue our efforts towards bridging the differences between regions, said Minister Lilyana Pavlova before the Parliament.
Bulgaria’s successful performance takes political consensus, dialogue and understanding, said the Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018. If Bulgaria is successful, we will all be successful, she added. Let us once again prove that united we stand strong, urged Lilyana Pavlova.
The programme includes 270 meetings from the national dimension of the presidency, six of which are from the parliamentary dimension.
