Culture and Media Committee Chair Vezhdi Rashidov has met with Turkish Ambassador to Sofia Hasan Ulusoy.

At the meeting, held at the request of the Turkish diplomat, Vezhdi Rashidov and Hasan Ulusoy discussed the cultural relations between Bulgaria and Turkey. They acknowledged the good cooperation between the legislative institutions of the two countries.

Chair of the Culture and Media Committee Vezhdi Rashidov expressed his confidence that the efforts towards preserving the cultural heritage would continue, and the cultural monuments would support the development of tourism. Culture is an excellent ambassador between countries, said Vezhdi Rashidov.

Ambassador Hasan Ulusoy emphasised the importance of the role of culture in the Bulgarian-Turkish relations.
