Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva attended the commemorative ceremony in the city of Lovech for the 145th anniversary of Vasil Levski’s death. Today, as every year, Bulgaria bows its head in respect of the work and heroism of the Deacon, who was the first to make us believe that we could be free and choose and build our destiny, said Tsveta Karayancheva in her speech.
The influence of a great person can be only accomplished when the best of his work and thoughts enters the mood and thoughts of the next generations, said the Speaker of Parliament. Tsveta Karayancheva added that Levski was the most sacred name in Bulgaria and still lived in the hearts of Bulgarians everywhere around the world.
