Women’s Folklore Choir “Sofia” at Community Cultural Centre “Budnina – 1982” visits Parliament and sing for the ladies on 8 March

The women’s folklore choir “Sofia” at the Community Cultural Centre “Budnina – 1982” from Mladost region visited the National Assembly and sang for the ladies on the 8th March.
Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva thanked the choir and said that their superb a cappella singing had brought them a lot of awards. She wished all ladies who celebrated the 8th March, to be healthy, pretty, authentic, and be themselves.
The women’s folklore choir visited the National Assembly at the invitation of MP from GERB political party Maria Ilieva. The choir conducted by Milena Stavreva sing a cappella folklore songs in three voices. For 8 years since it was founded it has won 6 golden and 3 silver medals from international and national festivals.
