Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva has opened the 10th University Winter Games “Borovets 2018”. 270 young people from 21 universities across Bulgaria will take part in the games. There will be student winners in three national championships.

Tsveta Karayancheva wished the organisers from the National Representation of Student Councils in Bulgaria and the University Sports Association “Academic” to continue this important initiative because it provided an opportunity to students to demonstrate their potential in a fair play and a spirit of sportsmanship. Initiatives like this, dedicated to the development of university sports, deserve deep gratitude and support, as sports build the most important personal qualities in young people, she said.
