MP Krasimir Velchev was unanimously re-elected as Chair of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee. On 28 March 2018, the 50th meeting of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee was held in the Romanian Parliament.

The Chair of the Religion and Human Rights Committee of the Bulgarian Parliament will head the PABSEC Committee for a second successive term of office. Krasimir Velchev took over the post in October 2015.

Head of the Bulgarian parliamentary delegation to PABSEC and Vice President of the Assembly Peter Kanev presented to the participants at the meeting a report on the issues related to economic digitalisation.
